The Austrian Crime Writers site (see under Links) has several interesting announcements,

1) The 2011 Leo Perutz Prize for a first novel goes to Georg Koytek and Lizi Stein for Der Posamentenhändler ("The Trimmings Dealer") published by Leykam. "Every page of the book breathes the spirit of the city of Vienna," said the judges.

2) The 2011 Austrian Literature Festival continues with readings and public events. For further details click here for the website.
